Theft
In case of theft at university sports facilities, Magdeburg Otto-von-Guericke University and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences do not assume liability. Therefore, we strongly recommend not to bring any values to sports classes or deposit them in the lockers. In case of theft, a charge against a person unknown has to be brought at the police.

Insurance Coverage

All members of Magdeburg Otto-von-Guericke University and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences (externals and civil servants excluded) are, in case of accident at university sports events, insured according to legal regulations. A particular information (Legal Instruction) outlining rules of conduct for doing sport or the case of sport accidents is provided upon registration. The athlete is obligated to read this legal instruction and to confirm it upon registration by checking the box. Otherwise, registration cannot be effected, and participation in university sports will not be allowed.
