Elegibility / Registration / Fees
Who can take part?
Students, trainees and staff of Magdeburg Otto-von-Guericke University as well as of Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Science.
Participation in university sports is only possible by enrollment!
All courses are subject to registration.
How does registration work?
Registration for all sports classes (also for sports classes taking place during semester breaks) always has to be effected online!
A syllabus of all sports classes for the upcoming semester will be published in March or September. Registration will be activated the week before the sports classes starts.
Exact information will be published under News (site in german) in due course.
Registration and payment has to be affected separately for each sports class during the lecture-free period in winter and summer also takes place online at the end of the expiring program.
Please note that:
- if minimum attendance is not met, classes will be merged!
- a change of class is possible just upon approval by the responsible coach. Claims to a spot in another class cannot be made!
- transfer of registration to another person is not allowed!
- waitlisted individuals are not eligible to participation, and therefore do not have an insurance coverage!

in case of unexcused absence in the first course lesson/s, the trainer has the right to have the person concerned deleted from the course.
What fees will be raised?
Participation in all sports classes is subject to a charge. The corresponding fees can be found on the respective registration page.
The fees are deducted according to the affiliation to the respective institution in the Magdeburg University Sports Centre or Sports Centre of Magdeburg University of Applied Sciences.
For the fees incurred, the bank details must be stored when registering.
There will be no refund!
